I am an employer

The tool put at your disposal includes a questionnaire and sections allowing you to consult the sample pay sheet, to save it on your work station, and to print it.

The questionnaire will allow you to create a sample pay sheet personalized according to the situation of each of your employees. It includes 4 steps:

  • General information
  • Wages and duration of work
  • Indemnities
  • Deductions

Steps 5 and 6 allow you to generate the sample pay sheet, save it on your work station, and print it.

The sample pay sheet presents:

  • the Identification section, which includes zones for the employee’s name, the identification of the employee’s job, the name of the employer, the date of payment and the work period that corresponds to the payment
  • the Wages section, which includes the various indemnities, premiums, bonuses and allowances
  • the Deductions section

The sample pay sheet will allow you to compare this sheet with the one that you are required to remit to your employees. The elements that the pay sheet contains must allow the employee to check the accuracy of his wages.

To help you calculate the wages and the various indemnities (statutory holidays, annual leaves and absence due to illness or family/parental reasons ), we suggest that you use the calculation tools developed by the Commission des normes, de l'équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail. However, these tools do not deal with all situations.
