Notice to home childcare providers
Are you a home childcare provider recognized by a coordinating office? Did you know that you could be entitled to the conditions of employment stipulated in the Act respecting labour standards?
Indeed, a ruling handed down on October 31st stipulates that you could benefit from the labour standards stipulated in this Act, notably concerning wages, indemnities for statutory holidays or for the annual leave. If you believe that your rights have not been respected and that you should have been paid sums of money, you can file a complaint with the Commission des normes du travail.
