The Commission des normes, de l'équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail has developed a tool allowing you to create a sample pay sheet. After having completed a questionnaire, you will obtain a personalized pay sheet. It will include the elements that should appear on the pay sheet according to the employee’s situation.

Before beginning, here is some important information.
The employer must remit to the employee the pay sheet, or pay stub, together with his wages. This pay sheet must contain sufficient information to enable the employee to clearly understand the computation of his wages. To find out more about the pay sheet, consult section 46 of the Act respecting labour standards.
Generally, the wages are calculated as follows:
