I am an employee

The tool put at your disposal includes a questionnaire and sections allowing you to consult the sample pay sheet, to save it on your work station, and to print it.

The questionnaire allows you to create a sample pay sheet personalized according to your situation. It includes 4 steps:

  • General information
  • Wages and duration of work
  • Indemnities
  • Deductions

Steps 5 and 6 allow you to generate the sample pay sheet, save it on your work station and print it.

The sample pay sheet presents:

  • the Identification section, which includes zones for your name, the identification of your job, the name of your employer, the date of payment and the work period that corresponds to the payment
  • the Wages section, which includes the various indemnities, premiums, bonuses and allowances
  • the Deductions section

You can compare this sample with the pay sheet that your employer remits to you. You are responsible for checking the accuracy of the wages paid to you by making sure that your pay sheet contains all the particulars necessary to do so.

To help you calculate the wages and the various indemnities (statutory holidays, annual leaves, leaves for family or parental reasons and termination of employment), we suggest that you use the calculation tools developed by the Commission des normes, de l'équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail. However, these tools do not deal with all situations.
