General rate employees

The indemnity for leaves for family or parental matters is calculated in the following way:

  1. first, the number of days to be compensated must be determined according to the event (see the tables);
  2. then you must calculate the indemnity for each of the days to be compensated.
Note

This tool is not intended for an employee subject to the Regulation respecting minimum labour standards in certain sectors of the clothing industry. The tool may be used to make retroactive calculations over a period of one year, from the date of the day. It does not take into account the longer prescription period that applies in the case of forestry workers. Moreover, the calculation tool does not apply to certain categories of employees:

  • an employee who has unspecified schedules;
  • an employee who has a schedule in which the days of work are repeated irregularly;
  • an employee who is on call.
